For any delay/lost/damaged baggage, the passenger is obliged to report in person to the Baggage Assistance desk, located in the baggage area of the arrival airport, for the preparation of the PIR (Property Irregularity Report), before leaving this area of the airport. If the passenger whose baggage has been delayed/lost/damaged does not file a PIR report before leaving the baggage area of the arrival airport, the air carrier will decline responsibility.

Please have with you:

  • Your boarding pass (electronic or physical)
  • Baggage tag
  • Identity card or passport

Animawings will not be held responsible for hold baggage mistakenly taken by another passenger from the baggage belt at the arrival airport. In such cases, the passenger who mistakenly picked up the baggage is directly responsible, without the carrier's intermediation, for all costs incurred by both passengers. The competent authority for dealing with such cases is the police at the airport of arrival.
