Passengers with Reduced Mobility
We want Animawings' service to be exceptional, so that our passengers board safely, have a pleasant flight and bring smiles to their faces!
If you need assistance, from check-in to boarding/disembarking the aircraft, we will make sure you get all the help and support we can offer. In accordance with European Council Regulation No 1107/2006, our partners provide a number of facilities for people with disabilities. To make this possible, we ask all passengers in this situation, or their companions, to request the special assistance service either at the time of booking or or up to 48 hours prior the flight.
Passengers requesting the assistance service will be provided with assistance and a wheelchair free of charge, depending on their physical condition and reported locomotor problems, at both the departure and destination airports.
Types of assistance:
- WCHR. Wheelchair required for transfer to/from aircraft, passenger can step
- WCHC. Wheelchair required for transfer to/from cabin seat, passenger is immobile
- WCHS. Wheelchair required for transfer to/from aircraft, passenger can walk, but cannot use stairs
If you wish to transport your own wheelchair, this is possible, but please note that Animawings allows the transport of wheelchairs with a wet battery that does not leak (nickel metal hydride or dry battery) or those with a foldable lithium battery. To ensure that the type of wheelchair is allowed or can be transported by Animawings, please send an email to the Customer Service department: customerservice@animawings.com, either at the time of booking or up to 48 hours before the flight. At no additional cost, your wheelchair can be transported in the aircraft's hold, provided it meets Animawings' conditions.
