Travelling with Infant

Baby or infant (as defined as a category of passenger in aviation) is a passenger aged between 0 and 24 months (i.e. between 0 and 2 years) newly born at the time of travel and do NOT hold a seat on the aircraft. The infant travels in the arms of the accompanying adult and is charged an infant fee of EUR 35 per flight segment, regardless of the destination chosen. A maximum of 1 (one) infant per adult companion is allowed as the infant is held in the arms.

To fly on AnimaWings aircraft, the minimum age of the baby must be 8 days from birth. Babies between 48 hours and 7 days of age can only be accepted with written authorization from the pediatrician confirming that the baby's health is fit to travel.

As long as the infant fee is paid, one piece of Personal Item with a maximum weight of 4 kg and a stroller are accepted as free of charge. If a stroller, consisting of one or more pieces, is brought for the baby, it will be considered as hold baggage and will be handed over to the flight attendants when boarding the aircraft, so that you will receive it when you arrive at your destination and get off the aircraft.

Parents and/or accompanying adults must have the child's identity documents and any other documents required by the authorities of the country of transit and/or destination. AnimaWings advises passengers to check and comply with the relevant legislation by consulting the official websites of the authorities or by contacting them directly. Further information can be obtained from the embassy of the country of transit and/or destination as well as from the Border Police.

When travelling with your baby, it is important to know that you CANNOT choose a seat in the emergency exit rows or in the adjacent rows (in front of or behind the emergency exit rows).

A maximum of 1 (one) infant is allowed on each row, either on the ABC or DEF side.

During Check-In at the airport, please go directly to the counter without queuing as passengers with children have priority. Also, for parents with children, it is important to know that the Airport Security Services will even allow you to carry PET bottles of water or juice or, if necessary, a bottle of milk, which is not subject to the limitations at security check for containers that cannot hold more than 100ml.

Note: The maximum number of infants/infants accepted on board AnimaWings aircraft is permitted and determined by the preventive and safety measures, as well as the number of oxygen masks and seat belts for children under 2 years of age available on AnimaWings airplane."
