AnimaWings, the 100% Romanian airline, announces the start of operating flights on the Bucharest - Dublin route and back, starting from July 21, 2025, according to a press release issued to the editors. The flights will have 3 weekly frequencies, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and tickets can already be booked on the company's website.

The duration of the flight is 3h50 min, and the fares start from 39.99 euros/way. As for all other flights operated by the company, the ticket price includes cabin baggage (8kg), a personal item such as a purse / handbag, free seat selection, free online and offline check-in.

"Our policy is to always include those services and facilities that we call 'common sense'. Respect for those who choose us is a priority for us. We know how unpleasant it is for travelers to pack all their personal items in a backpack that they have to carry around the whole flight, or to pay an additional fee for a trolley, sometimes higher than the cost of the actual flight. At AnimaWings, cabin baggage and personal bag are always included, as well as seat selection from the time of booking, so that passengers traveling together can sit next to each other and enjoy the flight as much as the holiday," said Marius Pandel, AnimaWings shareholder.

The races on the new route will be mainly operated with the new Airbus A220-300 aircraft, of the latest generation, which entered the AnimaWings fleet at the end of 2024. The planes have a premium configuration, which includes 12 seats in business class. In fact, Business Class is offered exclusively by AnimaWings for this direct flight route, the other operators of direct flights Bucharest - Dublin / return being low cost companies, with a higher density of seats in the cabin. Business class passengers will enjoy superior services, which include priority boarding, gourmet menus inspired by the new Romanian cuisine, additional legroom and increased privacy, all provided by a dedicated and professional cabin crew.

Moreover, AnimaWings comes with a unique concept in the domestic market of short and medium-haul flights, through the special configuration it has chosen for its Airbus A220 aircraft. They have only 5 seats per row in Economy class, for more space and comfort and wider color.

"In the last 10 years, Dublin has become a particularly sought-after and appreciated destination among passengers, especially Romanians who live or work in Ireland. We are happy to be able to serve a large diaspora through our flights, now even better connected with family and friends at home. AnimaWings maintains its objective of being a company with a Romanian soul, which contributes to facilitating the connections of Romanians abroad with their hometowns and loved ones", said Marius Marius Pandel.
